Terms of Service and billing policy

1. Acceptance of terms and service description

ATS Resume Checker (ats-resumechecker.com) is a web-based resume scoring and optimization service operated by Nauman Pathan. By accessing the site, creating an account, or starting a paid Pro Unlimited subscription, you agree to these Terms of Service and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service lets you upload a resume (PDF, DOCX, or TXT) and a job description, and returns a parser-friendly ATS score, matched and missing keywords, and (on Pro) a full AI optimization suite.

2. Free tier and Pro Unlimited subscription terms

  • Free tier: $0, no credit card. 3 free resume scans per 24 hour UTC day, counted per account and per IP so Incognito tabs share the same quota.
  • Pro Unlimited: $9.00 USD per month, billed monthly through Lemon Squeezy. Pro gives instant access to digital AI credits (bullet rewrites, cover letter, LinkedIn kit) and downloadable Pro outputs the moment the payment clears. The subscription renews automatically on the same calendar day each month until cancelled.
  • Taxes: Lemon Squeezy, as merchant of record, calculates and remits applicable VAT, GST, and US sales tax at checkout.
  • Price changes: We will not raise the price of a plan you are already on without 30 days of email notice.

3. 1-click cancellation and billing-error policy

Pro Unlimited is billed at $9/month with instant access to digital AI credits and downloadable outputs on purchase. Because the AI bullet rewrites, cover letter draft, LinkedIn kit, and compliance report are delivered immediately, Pro purchases are not eligible for a general refund.

You can cancel the next month's renewal in one click from the /dashboard page or from the Lemon Squeezy customer portal linked in your receipt email, so you are never billed again. You keep Pro features until the end of the current paid month.

Billing errors or duplicate charges are resolved promptly. Email naumanf3clicks@gmail.com from the address on your Lemon Squeezy receipt and we will reverse the mistaken charge, usually within 24 hours.

4. Acceptable use and automated scraping

You agree not to use ATS Resume Checker to:

  • Submit resumes or job descriptions that are not yours to submit, or that contain other people's confidential data without consent.
  • Attempt to bypass the rate limit, resell API access, or scrape the service through headless automation.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or copy the scoring rubric for a competing commercial product.
  • Upload malware, illegal content, or content that infringes the rights of a third party.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these rules.

5. Disclaimer of employment guarantee

ATS Resume Checker is an educational and diagnostic tool. The ATS score, keyword gap analysis, AI bullet rewrites, cover letter drafts, and compliance report are produced by automated systems and are not a guarantee of a job interview, a job offer, or any particular hiring outcome. The service does not provide legal, financial, or employment advice. Hiring decisions are made by human recruiters and hiring managers at the companies you apply to.

6. Intellectual property and user content ownership

You keep 100% ownership of the resumes you upload and of the cover letters, summaries, and LinkedIn copy that the Pro suite generates for you. We claim no license to republish, sell, or share your content.

The ATS Resume Checker brand, scoring rubric, website design, source code, and copy are our intellectual property. You may not copy or redistribute them without written permission.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, ATS Resume Checker's total liability for any claim arising out of the service is capped at the greater of the amount you paid for Pro Unlimited in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 USD.

8. Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Billing and payment disputes may also be raised through Lemon Squeezy's standard dispute process as set out in your receipt email.
